There was always music going on at our house. My parents and my grandmother were musicians. It was pure fun for them as they had regular jobs so they "played" music in the truest sense of the word.

I started piano at the age of five. Snare drum age seven.Took up clarinet when I was eight and continued studying for fifteen years. During this same time my Dad was teaching me chords on his tenor guitar and uke. When I turned fourteen I started working in a retail music store after school and summer break. As a woodwind major in college I earned a bachelors degree in music education.

          (now let's re-wind back to the early/mid 60's for a minute)

About the time Ed Sullivan introduced the Beatles to America, a huge army of young teenage boys decided that this was THE BEST JOB EVER! Bass guitar was my first choice adding guitar about ten years later. These days I play both on a regular basis.

Over the years I have been blessed to record for a major label and tour the states working with some of KC's finest musicians in some of the midwest's most popular bands. Check out the pics and links.
